Staff at Bradfield Dungworth School and volunteers from Stannington Library organised a celebration of the success achieved by children at the school in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. Headteacher Helen Adams invited library volunteers into the school to present medals and certificates during a school assembly. Also acknowledged at the event was nine-year-old Mahli Sutton whose story, A Better Place, won second prize in Stannington Library’s recent Magic Words young people’s writing competition.
