The Sawheads

THE SAWHEADS

The Sawheads combine the hauntingly ethereal wails of not one, but two musical saws with the energetic wheezing of the concertina. With powerful interpretations of songs ranging from Music Hall to Tom Waits and beyond, The Sawheads are a strangely compelling musical experience, not to be forgotten!

The Cholavan

WE ARE CHOL

Chol are bringing their Cholavan to Stannington Story Festival, offering a variety of activities suitable for children aged 2+ and their families.  Look at some of the activities the Cholavan had on offer during their Summer Tour: https://wearechol.co.uk/summer-2022-round-up/.

STAND was formed in 2013 after Sheffield City Council announced its decision to close sixteen libraries (including Stannington) unless volunteers took them on. STAND was registered as a charity in 2014 and is funded by grants, donations and fund-raising activities. The library is run by a team of dedicated volunteers.
